Is there away I can make these various clients only query Active Directory, or at least download from the GAL much more frequently? What if a VIP says that he doesn't like his picture and wants to ensure that no one sees it at all any more? I can make changes on the server, but it's not practical for me to delete every Lync profile, OABįile or Temporary Internet Files. However, my concern is for the following case. I saw in another forum a suggestion to migrate the user to a different database, and I tried that, but to no avail. Update-GlobalAddressList -Identity "Default Global Address List" In Outlook, I've tried "Download Offline Address Book", both with "Download changes since last Send/Receive" checked, and unchecked. In a different case, we see two different pictures in two different OWA sessions (which I didn't think was possible).Īs far as updating the Global Address List, I've tried the following commands: the picture was changed three times and we see one picture in OWA (the one in Active Directory), one in Outlook and another one When we change the user picture in Active Directory, we do not see the picture replicate to the clients. We have an Exchange 2013 organization (3 front end servers, 3 mailbox servers, 6 databases), Lync 2013 and Outlook 2010/2013 clients. We're having a strange problem with the user photo thumbnails in the various clients we use.
